Peer Review Process
The editor first reviews the submitted manuscript, which is referred to as the initial review by the editor. At this stage, the editor will evaluate whether the submitted manuscript is in line with the focus and scope of Ahmad Dahlan Legal Perspective, check the similarity score using Crosscheck-iThenticate, identify potential methodological flaws, assess the readability of the article, as well as ensure the manuscript follows the specified template.
Furthermore, the manuscript will be sent to a minimum of three anonymous reviewers (Double-Blind Peer-Review). Comments from the anonymous reviewers will then be sent to the correspondence author for necessary action and response. Afterward, the editorial team will hold a meeting to decide on the revisions suggested by the authors.
Finally, the Editor will send the final decision to the correspondence author. The accepted manuscript will proceed to the copy-editing and layout process to prepare the final print-ready manuscript.
Review Results
Using the feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make the final publication decision. This review process will take approximately 4 to 12 weeks. Decision categories include:
- Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors will not have the opportunity to submit a revised version of the manuscript to Ahmad Dahlan Legal Perspective.
- Resubmit for Review - Manuscripts need to be significantly improved, but with major changes, can be accepted after going through the review process again.
- Accept with Revisions - Manuscripts that receive an accept with revisions decision will be published in Ahmad Dahlan Legal Perspective provided that minor or major revisions are made. These revisions will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure the necessary updates are made prior to publication.
- Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form, with no further modifications required.
