Copyright And License
Authors publishing in Legal Civility agree to the following terms:
- Authors retain copyright to their work and grant first publication rights to the journal, with the work licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0). This license allows others to share the work by acknowledging authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are allowed to make separate, additional contractual agreements for non-exclusive distribution of the version published by the journal (e.g., uploading it to an institutional repository or publishing it in book form), while acknowledging the original publication in this journal.
- Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., on institutional repositories or personal websites) before and during the submission process. This can lead to productive exchanges as well as increase the likelihood of earlier and more citations to published work.
